on-line coursework is now available.
These courses also may serve as recertification courses (earning 90
recertification points per course), or may be
taken for college credit (3 credit hours per course).

based so as to ensure that teachers gain a clearer perspective
of what technology can do for their own personal development as
a teacher. The courses provide an enhanced learning environment
that stimulate teachers to incorporate effective integration of technology

technology is used to enhance learning and increase
student achievement. Teacher's roles are changing
from that of "informational giver" to that of a
facilitator, a guide, and a co-learner along with
her/his students. These professional development
courses are designed to assist teachers with evolving into their new
