High Schools

Wise County is made up of three comprehensive high schools that stress academics.  Students are also encouraged to participate in the fine arts and technical fields of study.  Many students are enrolled in Advanced Placement classes.  Wise County also partners with the two local colleges offering Dual Enrollment classes.  All Wise County high schools are accredited by the Virginia Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
