Beauty Salon Assistant
Prerequisites: Grade 10, 11, or 12.
Course Description: The Beauty Salon Assistance course
is a one year program that prepares students for work as
an assistant in a hair salon. Students study and prepare
in a clinical lab setting, learning practical and
manipulative skills. The program emphasizes safety and
sanitation, shampooing and conditioning, retailing,
inventory control, receptionist work. Competency
completions allow students a certificate for job entry
level employment.
