This course is intended to provide a general, but
informed knowledge of the philosophy and history of
criminal justice and criminal justice issues. It surveys
the jurisdiction and organizations of local, state, and
federal criminal justice agencies. After taking this
course the student should have a general understanding
of criminal justice, criminal law and criminal justice
procedures.
