Certification

Course Description

Graphic Imaging Technology prepares students for a career in what has traditionally been called the printing industry. Students learn to design and produce print media, which includes layout, electronic imaging, offset printing, bindery and finishing, and other graphic arts related to the printing industry.

 

Certification

This course may assist the student in preparing for the following certification examinations, national assessments, or licensure examinations approved by the Virginia Board of Education:
  • Adobe Certified Expert (Adobe Systems Incorporated)
  • Brainbench Adobe Illustrator Certification (Brainbench)
  • Brainbench Adobe PageMaker Certification (Brainbench)
  • Brainbench Adobe Photoshop Certifcation (Brainbench)
  • Brainbench CorelDRAW Certification (Brainbench)
  • Brainbench Macromedia FreeHand Certification (Brainbench)
  • Brainbench Quark Express Certification (Brainbench)
  • Graphic Communications Technology (NOCTI 4042)
